During the winter of this year, four community members were gathered to form a steering committee. In July of the same year, LifeCare Pregnancy Resources Inc. was created as a non-profit corporation in the state of Iowa. In October, the board adopted bylaws and applied for 501(c)(3) status with the IRS.
LifeCare Pregnancy Center opened doors on March 5, 2012, as a non-medical crisis pregnancy center.
In December of 2013, LifeCare completed the conversion to a pregnancy medical clinic and began offering nurse-administered pregnancy testing, limited obstetrical ultrasounds, and STD/STI testing and treatment.
A state-of-the-art ultrasound machine was purchased through the Knights of Columbus' Ultrasound Initiative. LC Clinic began the process of opening a second clinic to be located in Creston, Iowa.
LC Clinic opened a second clinic on July 2, 2015, 40 miles south in Creston, Iowa.
LC Clinic opened its third clinic on June 27, 2022, in Atlantic, Iowa.
